The Actors Centre

Scene Study - The Great American Writers

WHAT IS IT? A course - running for four sessions over two weeks - designed to explore and expand the actors' knowledge of the great American playwrights. HOW WILL IT WORK? Each actor will work on sections from one of the greats - Arthur Miller, Tennessee Williams, Lillian Hellman to name a few - and using the Method, each actor will explore the world of the play and life of the character in depth. Open to newcomers and participants who have worked with Laurence previously. WHAT DO YOU GET OUT OF IT? A love and admiration for the writing and an authentic confidence that comes from working on the best material. The course will also enable you to enrich and deepen your acting choices and belief in the given circumstances. Also fantastic for those wishing to work on their American dialects. Price £72
