Online Workshop: Voice: The Journey from Stage, to Screen, to Studio | Workshops

10:00 - 15:00 with an hour lunch break

This is a practical workshop to explore voice and text work on stage, on screen and in the studio. The artist in the 21st century needs to be able to adapt skilfully and effortlessly. We will work through what is common to all three mediums and explore the specific techniques and tips needed to meet the challenges and opportunities for each.

Text work will include both classical and contemporary writing for adaptation across each field.

Please note, a strong wifi connection is required to partake in The Actors Centre's online workshop programme. We advise testing your connection before booking on to a workshop.

YVONNE MORLEY-CHISHOLM

Yvonne is an internationally recognised voice teacher and vocal coach with 40 years experience. She is an associate with the Royal Shakespeare Company, Royal National Theatre and Shakespeare’s Globe. Work for screen and recorded media include the BBC and a wide range of independent producers. Coaching work regularly supports voice over artists in audio books, animation and computer games. Yvonne has published an App: Voice Coach.

Please note that during this period of closure, online workshops are non-refundable and non-transferrable, unless a workshop is cancelled by The Actors Centre, in which case you will be entitled to a full refund.

Please also note that we cannot refund due to technical or connectivity issues. Please ensure that you have a strong WiFi connection before booking a space on one of our workshops. It is necessary to arrive at least 15 minutes before the scheduled start time to allow enough time to rectify any potential technical issues as we cannot delay the commencement of any workshop for individual participant concerns.
