Whilst with the BBC Radio Drama Company Peter made numerous recordings of poetry for Kaleidoscope and Woman’s Hour. He has twice been shortlisted for Best Audiobook of the Year and received Awards for his recordings of the works of Iain Banks, Neil Gaiman, Jonas Jonasson, and Claire North.
Catherine is a regular reader on Radio 4’s Poetry Please, as well other arts programmes, including Words and Music, With Great Pleasure, The Verb and Night Waves. She was on the board of Speak-a-Poem, a poetry speaking organisation running workshops throughout the country, culminating each year in the Lockwood West Award at Central. After receiving the Poetry Society’s Gold Medal, she has taught at drama schools including Central, Mountview and the Royal Academy of Music. As an actor, Catherine has worked at theatres including the Bush, NT, Soho, the Orange Tree and Theatr Clwyd; in film and TV; for BBC Radio Drama and as a voiceover artist recording numerous audiobooks, adverts and continuity for several TV channels. Catherine is also an award-winning writer and works as a director of stand-up and sketch comedy.
