Sam Rumbelow brings over 40 years experience in stage, TV and film. As an actor he has worked with Helen Mirren, John Thaw, Bill Paterson and Penelope Wilton amongst others. As a Method teacher Sam has worked with many established actors and coached for stage and screen. As well as teaching in the UK he has also run workshops in Sweden, Denmark and Italy.He collaborated with Britain’s Turner Prize-winning artist Gillian Wearing on their feature film, Self Made which toured such film festivals as London, Dublin, Florence, New York, LA, Toronto, Singapore and Wroclaw. As Artistic Director of The Ensemble, Sam has directed two critically successful stage productions, Work and Trading Faces, with The Ensemble now expanding their focus into film with two projects currently in development As actor, director and teacher he brings the means to evaluate an actor’s instrument on both a professional and artistic level, unlocking real sustained means to their work. Sam has extensively taught Method since 2001, teaching many training and establishing actors, as well as coaching for stage & screen
