Moment of Grace, presented by Backstory Ensemble in association with The Actors Centre and the National HIV Story Trust streams here on our website from 31 July - 9 August.
Over the course of this one-hour webinar, the cast and creative team will explore the making of the digital production of Bren Gosling's Moment of Grace, which was initially slated to run in our Tristan Bates Theatre, but because of Covid-19, has now been reimagined into a unique theatre-film hybrid.
The Q&A will be chaired by broadcaster Martin Stanford and will feature writer/executive producer Bren Gosling; director Nicky Allpress; producer/editor Paul Coleman alongside actors Luke Dayhill, Lucy Walker-Evans and Andrew Paul. The webinar will cover:
How and why the production emerged
The formation of a production company and casting
The sourcing of suitable hardware
Mechanisms of producing remotely
Designing a production protocol
The production challenges for actors shooting remotely
Post production and PR challenge
If you are interested in learning more about what it takes to create a digital production, then this webinar will provide an invaluable insight into the process, as well as examining the challenges and possibilities associated with producing digital theatre during Covid-19.
