Fundamentals: Sharpening Your Skills

A one-day workshop for actors to have fun, or, if they feel like it, a bit of a lift into Spring and some exciting new work! And it could be an introduction for new members to the Actors Centre. Through improvisation, poetry and text, the workshop will be a sharing of experience, and inspire professional confidence in a friendly atmosphere. Price: £30.

Patricia Doyle

Patricia trained as an actress at RADA and has worked at the NT, the RSC (including the world tour of Peter Brook’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream), Royal Court, the West End and in rep, radio and film. As a theatre director her productions include plays by Stoppard, Chekhov, Churchill, Ibsen, Priestley and Brenton. For the Northern Ballet Theatre Patricia has directed Carmen and A Streetcar Named Desire, co-directed Peter Pan, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Hamlet a new ballet of Cleopatra and, most recently, The Great Gatsby and Cinderella. She recently worked on a new ballet of Nijinsky in Bratislava and directed her first short films, Beware of What You Wish For and No Man’s Land.
