Fall In Love With Your Voice

WHAT IS IT? A one day workshop to explore and develop your vocal technique. HOW WILL IT WORK? Jeannette will lead you through the voice exercises she uses at the National Theatre to help you develop or enhance your authentic voice for the stage. You will then apply the techniques to texts of your choice. The morning will be spent in a studio setting, working on voice exercises. In the afternoon you will move to the Tristan Bates theatre to try out your work in a theatre environment. Then you will get more detailed individual attention from Jeannette and the group. Please bring some texts you want to work on - it can be anything you like from plays or poetry or public speeches. WHAT DO YOU GET OUT OF IT? You will be encouraged to develop a relationship with your voice; to know how it works and to own it. The exercises will give you the choice of how you use it. Price: £30
