ACT NOW is an event focused on supporting this year’s drama/acting graduates, from UK Universities and Drama Schools, who have recently entered the acting profession.

This new and exciting event aims to connect a cross section of UK drama graduates with industry professionals, provide opportunities, know-how of how best to access “the business” and discover what questions you should be asking yourself:
- How effective is my career planning and objectives?
- How do I best communicate with the industry?
- How do I fund myself and my creative work?
- Can I make work for myself? How?
- How do I maintain a work/life balance?
- How do I network?
- What do I want from the industry?

Who is eligible for this event?
This event is open to ANY 2016 Drama/Acting/Theatre/Performance graduates of BA/MA/Professional Diploma courses from UK Universities or Drama Schools pursuing a career as a professional actor post-training.

This event runs between two venues on the same night - The Actors Centre and The Seven Dials Club

The scheduled programme for the event will take place across both venues and will depend on a sign-up system on the night. The second venue is:

THE BUSINESS a conversation and Q&A with Julia Crampsie (Head of Casting at the BBC) – Hosted by Adam Buchanan (Alan Bates Award 2013 Winner)
