Alain English is an actor and a poet based in London. He has extensive experience acting on stage in a wide variety of roles, most notably as King James in "5/11" and Mark Antony in "Julius Caesar" (both Network Theatre) as well as Hotel Porter in "The Ritual Slaughter of Gorge Mastromas" (Sedos Theatre). Last year Alain played William Butler Yeats in "The Playboy Riots" (Bread and Roses and Hen and Chickens Theatre). Alain performs regularly in "Stealth Aspies", a show about life on the autistic spectrum. Alain also works with support workers instructing them about supporting people with autism/Asperger's Syndrome. He is Artiste-in-Residence at the Tea House Theatre in Vauxhall, where he founded Paper Tiger Poetry and regularly performs in rehearsed readings and one-man shows, his most recent of which was William Shakespeare's 'The Rape of Lucrece'.
