Friday 24 March, Theatre Royal Drury Lane.
We are extremely excited to announce that the next Off the Record in 2017 will be with Dame Harriet Walter!
The Actors Centre and Really Useful Theatres are continuing to present our hit series of conversations "Off the Record" as part of the initiative, Lunchtime at the Lane. A series of colourful conversations between Paul Clayton and his guests in what is probably the finest Georgian room in England, the Grand Saloon at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane.
All funds raised from Off the Record will be in aid of the Actors Centre Capital Development Fund.
Harriet Walter is one of the UK's most acclaimed actors. She is known for her stage credits – including over thirty years' work with the Royal Shakespeare Company, but also for onscreen roles in hit films and TV programmes such as Downton Abbey, Atonement, Law and Order and London Spy, with recent appearances in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, The Crown and Call the Midwife. In 2011, she was appointed a DBE for services to drama.
The talk will be followed by an exclusive book signing, where copies of Harriet Walter's latest book Brutus and Other Heroines will be on sale at a special price of just £9 (rrp £12.99) thanks to our partners Nick Hern Books.
