Off the Record Returns!
We are thrilled that the Actors Centre has teamed up with Really Useful Theatres to present our hit series of conversations "Off The Record" as part of a new initiative Lunchtime at the Lane. A series of colourful conversations between Paul Clayton and his guests in what is probably the finest Georgian room in England the Grand Salon at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane.
We’re launching this season with the Olivier Award-Winning star of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory Alex Jennings on Tuesday 16th September at 13:00.
Alex has had an illustrious career having worked extensively for the National Theatre, including the title role in Albert Speer and Leontes in A Winter’s Tale. At the RSC he has played roles including Benedict in Much Ado About Nothing and Hamlet.
Films include the BAFTA award winning The Queen, Babel and Belle and TV series including Whitechapel and Cranford Chronicles.
Paul is best known for his appearances in Peep Show, Him and Her, Hollyoaks and Coronation Street, He has just filmed Wolf Hall for the BBC.
He is the chairman of the board of the Actors Centre.
The bar will be open at 12 noon for drinks and light lunches and the event will begin at 1pm, lasting approximately one hour. Tickets are free of charge, though there will be a bucket collection in aid of the Actors Centre.
