During these difficult times, the safety of our members and audiences is our highest priority. The Actors Centre is closely monitoring the developments of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) and will continue to follow local authority and government protocol, as well as the advice of SOLT (Society of London Theatres).
The Actors Centre is currently open and all workshops and theatre performances will continue to operate as scheduled. We will update members and audiences should anything change.
We encourage everyone to take necessary and precautionary measures in line with the advice of the World Health Organisation. We have implemented increased health and safety measures, with additional hand sanitisers and antibacterial wipes available throughout the building and all reusable theatre tickets are being disinfected and cleaned following every usage. Our current policy on refunds and exchanges remains the same at this time, linked to the current government advice that there is no clear rationale to cancel performances and events. If this advice changes, we will update and advise accordingly.
For an unsubsidised charity such as The Actors Centre, these are unprecedented and worrying times and we are working on a business continuation strategy.
In the meantime, please stay safe. If you feel ill, you are encouraged to remain at home and visit https://111.nhs.uk/service/covid-19 or call 111 for advice. You can consult the Public Health England website for the latest and most current information and advice.
