Rafe worked his way up in the acting industry from the National Youth Theatre, with numerous small parts in television and on stage, before getting his first major role in 2004 in Shaun of the Dead. In the last decade he has appeared in Hollywood blockbusters including Prometheus, Life of Pi and I Give it a Year. His stage roles include Constellations at the Royal Court, and If There Is I Haven’t Found It Yet at the Bush Theatre. He also played the title role in Channel 4’s sitcom Pete Versus Life.

‘Speaking as someone who took a rather unconventional route into the profession, learning on the job, the flexibility and breadth of support and on-going training the AC offers is a godsend for the working actor.’
