The Tristan Bates Theatre is our flagship venue hosting an exciting year-round programme of theatre performance from emerging artists to world renowned companies.
The Actors Centre operates out of its own building in Covent Garden in the heart of the West End, London and is made up of several workshop/rehearsal spaces, the Tristan Bates Theatre, and the John Thaw Studio Theatre.

This is a newly created role for an ambitious and multi-talented marketing and communications professional. The Marketing and Communications Manager will, with the support of the team, take full responsibility for setting and delivering the marketing strategies that allow the Actors Centre to reach its potential over the next few years. They will plan and implement all marketing and communications outputs, taking complete ownership of this area of work for the organisation.
This is an exciting time for the Actors Centre as we celebrate 40-years, prepare to undertake a capital development of our home and undertake a rebrand of the organisation.

Do I need to sell workshop places myself?
No, the Actors Centre will manage all sales of workshop places to our membership, and offer tutors a fee to run the class.
Do I need to offer a workshop for actors only?
No, we run a variety of workshop for other professionals who have an associate membership. We can also offer observer spaces in acting workshops for our associate members.
Can I hire a studio to run a workshop?
Our studios are available to hire, but not to run public workshops. If you would like to hire the space for a closed group, please speak to reception.
I haven’t heard back yet about my application, what should I do?
The Actors Centre receives a large number of applications from prospective tutors, and so it is not always possible to respond. If you have filled in the application form above, then we will have your information on file, and will be in touch if, and when, there is a suitable slot in the programme for your workshop. If the workshop you are proposing is already being offered at the Actors Centre, please give some thought as to why your workshop would work alongside it, or why it is different.
