Dawn Farrow, entrepreneur, digital enthusiast and owner of entertainment marketing and advertising agency Boom (www.booments.com). Her agency was awarded the Best Business Award’s Best New Business (2015) and made number 53 in the top 100 Start Ups.
In 2014 Dawn was shortlisted for Management Today’s 35 women under 35, the illustrious power-list that celebrates Britain's highest-flying business women, and in 2015 she was nominated for Guardian Small Business Leader of the Year.
Before creating her own style of pick ‘n’ mix full service agency, Dawn created campaigns internationally in her time as a marketing director and head of department for some of the country’s biggest producers including IMG, Sonia Friedman, Sir Cameron Mackintosh and creating and strategising campaigns for worldwide live entertainment productions such as Kenwood House Music Festival, Kew the Music (Kew Gardens), The Udderbelly and Wonderground Festivals, Fame (West End), Doctor Who Live (Arena Tour) and Doctor Who Exhibition to name a few.
In her role as founder and managing director of Boom Ents, she has secured some of the biggest entertainment companies to work with her company. These include, Walking with Dinosaurs, the International Arena Spectacular, Bugsy Malone, The Lyric Theatre Hammersmith, Opera and Ballet producer Raymond Gubbay, Harry Hill (comedian), Batman Live (Global Arena Tour), The Luna Cinema (The UK’s largest outdoor cinema producer), Hollywood legend John Travolta for the Really Useful Theatres, and Countryfile Live.
