"The Actors Centre is creating a pool of skilled and adventurous artists, raising standards in the performing arts at home and increasing competitiveness in the world market. The continuation of the Centre’s work is vital to the cultural life of the UK." - Sir Derek Jacobi
The Actors Centre relies on the constant support and enthusiasm of its funders to nurture the most important asset in British film, TV and theatre: Actors.
Only through the generous donations of individuals, trusts and foundations, corporations and statutory bodies can the Actors Centre:
- Support the ongoing professional development of over 2600 actors a year by keeping training prices as affordable as possible
- Inspire and equip a new generation of actors to deliver the classics
- Keep actors’ training up-to-date as new technologies emerge
- Create groundbreaking projects to improve diversity in the profession and make the faces you see on screen or on stage more reflective of Britain today
- Nurturing young actors at the start of their careers
- Deliver career-enhancing training to actors based outside of London
