Freeing the Voice - Annie Morrison
Annie brings a uniquely intuitive and playful approach to vocal work, to enable actors to find their true, natural voice and open up new vocal possibilities in performance.
Annie has worked for almost 30 years as a voice therapist/ teacher. She was Head of Voice at Guildford School of Acting, and is currently Voice and Speech Consultant for the RSC and the National. Recent stage and film work includes Danny Boyle's FRANKENSTEIN at the National and Tom Hooper's THE KING'S SPEECH. In her work, Annie draws on her experience of movement and bodywork including Bodymind Centring, T'ai Chi, Laban Dance, Six Forms of Touch, Alexander Technique, Feldenkrais Work and Chinese Internal Exercises.

Classical Theatre Technique – Peter Egan
A workshop providing an inspirational approach to blank verse and releasing the dramatic energy of classical text. How do you use the technical framework of the verse but make it sound utterly real and a powerful expression of the inner needs and desires of your character?
Peter is one of our leading classical actors with credits including HAMLET directed by Trevor Nunn, ARMS AND THE MAN and YOU NEVER CAN TELL. He is also well-known from his extensive screen work including A PERFECT SPY, EVER DECREASING CIRCLES and CHARIOTS OF FIRE.

Contemporary Scene Study – Che Walker
Explore a selection of definitive modern texts with one of the most exciting and groundbreaking writer-directors working in contemporary theatre.
Che has won many awards for his distinctive body of work which includes BEEN SO LONG (Royal Court and then in a musical version at the Young Vic) and FLESH WOUND (Royal Court) and THE FRONT LINE (Shakespeare's Globe). His current production of LITTLE BABY JESUS by Arinze Kene runs until 15 June at the Oval House.

Rediscovering the Body - Liz Ranken
A revelatory workshop that introduces some of Liz's methods, which have become hallmarks of productions by Shared Experience and the RSC, releasing the actor's potential to explore actions, characters, and even subtext, physically.
Liz was a founder member of DV8 physical theatre. She subsequently performed with Gloria Music theatre. She performed and choreographed for The Grass Market in Edinburgh, working with strippers, and with CAT A working with prisoners. For her own work as a director/choreographer, she has won The Place Portfolio Award, and Capital Award (Edinburgh Fringe). She won a Time Out award for bringing theatre alive with movement. She has worked extensively with Shared Experience, the RSC, and Dom Cooke. She paints professionally with works reaching the acquisition board at the National Portrait Gallery, and Tate Britain.
