Actors Centre founders Clive Swift and Sheila Hancock were joined by Patron Julie Walters to celebrate the Actors Centre's 30th Birthday on Sunday 2nd November. A wonderful time was had by all.

Following the huge success of Talent Boost 2008, the Actors Centre is delighted to announce Talent Boost 2009, supported by the BBC, in four major UK cities; Cardiff, Leeds, Glasgow and Belfast.
In response to feedback and discussion with leading Casting Directors, the Actors Centre is looking to harness, develop and mentor new and culturally-diverse acting talent from minority communities, specifically South Asian, East Asian, Eastern European, Middle Eastern, Black British and Mixed Race.
Talent Boost 2009 aims to expand casting options, providing creative opportunities for participants from communities across the UK that are currently underrepresented in the broadcasting industry. This year’s project is particularly interested in promoting diverse talent from Northern Ireland, Wales and the South West, Scotland, the Midlands and the North of England.
