Becoming a member

Here at the Actors Centre we pride ourselves on the high calibre of our membership.

Full membership of the Actors Centre is open strictly to professional actors. Our definition of ‘professional’ is someone who has achieved a recognised qualification in Acting at drama school or university level and/or someone who has had at least 2-3 years professional experience in the industry of a recognisable quality, although this experience need not be 2-3 years of continual employment.

Full membership entitles you to an unrivalled range of subsidised classes and workshops, led by experienced directors and tutors who work actively in the industry. It is important to be aware that our tutors expect a minimum level of skill and knowledge when they teach, so that all members get the most out of their experience.

As such, full membership is not appropriate for everyone who would like to join the Actors Centre and we have a range of membership types available.
