An intense five-day course for those who are considering a career in acting and want to prepare and hone their audition technique.
The week will offer a range of workshops giving an invaluable grounding in vital skills required for auditions and ongoing training.
Working with experienced tutors, directors and performers you will develop a practical understanding of text and character, basic vocal and movement skills, the art of improvisation and at the end of the week you will walk away, armed for auditions with two polished speeches, one classical and one contemporary and plenty of tips and techniques to keep you relaxed in audition situations.
The course will end in a short presentation for family and friends.
The course will cost £350 and is open to anyone with commitment and determination. The course will be restricted to 12, giving you an unparalleled level of tuition and guidance.

Working with two speeches of your choice, one classical and one modern, we will explore ways of approaching plays and developing character, motive and compelling performance. We will look at general audition technique including presentation, delivery, attitude and focus. At the end of the course we will run mock-audition sessions and present your work to friends and family.

Discover how to develop a vocal technique that is free to serve the demands of your text and exercises that will further develop your voice and its emotional range.
Explore the body through movement, develop some useful techniques and exercises and gain an insight on how to tackle movement as part of the audition and rehearsal process.
