Following the huge success of Talent Boost 2008 and 2009, the Actors Centre is delighted to announce Talent Boost 2010, supported by the BBC, in fLondon and Leeds .
Talent Boost aims to expand casting options, providing creative opportunities for participants from communities across the UK that are currently underrepresented in the broadcasting industry.
In response to feedback and discussion with leading Casting Directors, the Actors Centre has been harnessing, developing and mentoring new and culturally-diverse acting talent from minority communities, specifically South Asian, East Asian, Eastern European, Middle Eastern, Black British and Mixed Race.
In Talent Boost 2010 we will be expanding this to promting talented disabled actors as well.
You do not have to be an experienced actor to take part, but you must demonstrate talent, flair and ambition. We welcome applications from anyone over the age of 16. We are especially interested in training people who wish to enter the profession later in their lives. And remember, it’s never too late!
If you meet this criterion, we want to meet you!

Talent Boost 2010 will provide participants with
- Intense Professional Training in Screen and TV Technique
- Free Provisional Membership of the Actors Centre, London.
- Additional training opportWeekend Training Intensives at the Actors Centre, London.
