On Sunday 2nd November, friends from across the industry gathered to help the Actors Centre celebrate its 30th Birthday.
Among them were founders, Clive Swift, William Hobbs and Sheila Hancock, Patron, Julie Walters and longstanding friend of the Actors Centre Richard Wilson.
The party was the perfect opportunity to show off the new look Actors Centre to as many of our friends, from past and present, as we could squeeze into the building.
Welcome Speeches and Announcements
Matthew Lloyd welcomed everyone to the centre. Dawn Keeler gave a fascinating introduction to the Actors Centre's early days. Harriet Thorpe spoke about the Centre's creative energy and new initiatives. Henry Goodman announced talented young actor Luke Norris (pictured above with Julie Walters) as the worthy winner of this years Alan Bates Bursary.
The Actors Centre would like to express its deepest gratitude to the following companies and individuals for their generosity and time in contributing to making the 30th Birthday such as success.
